Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science

Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science

These two departments were created in 1988 – 89 academic year, on the basis of physics and mathematics. Therefore, they have a common history. This is the story ACRI physics and mathematics, in turn, grew into an independent department of Physics and Mathematics Department of the Teachers’ Institute, founded in the second year of its existence – the fall of 1941. After the liberation of the city of Maikop from the invaders 29 January 1943, in February, it was declared a reception on the physical and mathematical department of the institute. As a result of interviewing 60 people were enrolled, including 15 Adygei. Classes began on February 25, and the first issue of physicists and mathematicians of the 35 people held in 1944. Summer of 1944, also for the interview were enrolled another 60 people, and the second issue was the summer of 1945. The summer of 1944 at the physics and mathematics open training courses, for which 50 people were enrolled, of whom 36 are first-year students in 1945.

Increasing the number of high school graduates and working with physics and mathematics, training courses have allowed in 1945 to enter the entrance exams. They were held under the program, which is close to the nine-year program. In subsequent years the program of training courses nearing high school program.

The first four years of the physical and mathematical department led a very kind and intelligent man K.I. Bedusenko, graduated from Odessa University. He was a great lover of art, music. Students with interest visited a circle, which he led.

The first teachers of department K.I. Bedusenko, V.I. Chelnokova, M.P. Babichev, A.V. Kasyanov worked a lot with students, to fill the gaps in their knowledge.

In the 1945 – 46 school year, the first time in physics and mathematics open cabinets of physics and mathematics, which were equipped with aids and appliances manufactured in the workshops of the institute. They were purchased and the first technical training. In the same year, the first student scientific conference dedicated to the Radio Day was held on it were presented student reports demonstrated teaching tools and aids started by students. Thus, from the 1946 – 47 school year, a marked improvement of the educational process. At the end of the school year to hold a joint scientific-methodical conference of teachers and students on the topic “What do the state exams of previous years.” It was summed up the experience of work in the first 4 years of physics and mathematics. The conference was attended by representatives of the departments of physics and mathematics teacher’s college of Krasnodar.

In 1947, the total department was divided into two departments: the head. Chair of Mathematics became K.S. Lazarev, and physics – V.I. Chelnokova. In the second half of the 40-s of physics came to physics and mathematics teachers’ institute G.I. Kusikov, A.E. Nikolaev, N.Y. Delikamov – the first head of the department of physics and mathematics (1949-1952 years), A. Elnikov – head. Department of Physics from 1949 to the teacher, and then in the pedagogical – until 1961, and in 1962-1979 gg – Deputy Dean of the Physics and Mathematics ACRI. All faculty respected him for his profound knowledge, honesty, integrity, and kindness to people.

3. V. Sheudzhen came to the Institute in 1946 after the end of the Krasnodar Pedagogical Institute and worked there until 1965, teaching methodology of mathematics and successfully led the supervised practice.

I.P. Mityuk came MIE 1949. He graduated from Moscow University in 1950, was the first head of the department of mathematics at the ACRI (1954 – 59 years). His in-depth knowledge, honesty, and integrity in the physics and mathematics have helped to develop their own traditions, to improve performance. Currently, Igor Petrovich Mityuk – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Kuban.
Mukhtar Hadzhibeevich Shaov came to the institute in 1947. This man deserves to tell us more about his life and work. In 1933-1946  M. X. Shaov serves in the Soviet Army. Over the years, he graduated from the Leningrad military engineering school, Chkalov flight school, two courses of the Academy of the Air Force to them Zhukovsky, participated in the liberation of Belarus in 1939, he taught at the Tashkent military school and graduated as an external student of physics and mathematics faculty of the Tashkent Pedagogical Institute. For over 20 years, M. X. Shaov was dean of the Faculty of ACRI. His humanity and good business qualities has managed to create a stable climate in the department. As no one else was able to listen to anyone, understand it, to give advice, to meet, help.

Physics and Mathematics Teachers’ Institute has trained more than 900 teachers. Among them K.L. Bedanokov and A.N. Neflyashev later became scientists and made a great contribution to the development of his native faculty, V.I. Solomkin worked for a number of years, pro-rector of ACRI and Sh.I. Brantov many years was the director of the Institute of Teacher Training.

High responsibility consciousness distinguished scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. This helped him to successfully solve not only the problem of teacher training but to lay the foundation for research training that was particularly acute for Physics and Mathematics. To address this challenge the Department of Physics and Mathematics, began to create the scientific and student circles, capable of stimulating independent work of the most talented and hard-working students. And their course has led to success. For example, the first graduates of the faculty in the Department of Physics were left Nozhenko V. and G. Hatsekidi. Afterwards, they became excellent teachers. Under the guidance of A. Elnikova number of circle members, M. Kutimskaya has been involved in research in the field of radio. Now she Ph.D., professor of the University of Irkutsk.

Significant in this time was the success of the department of mathematics. Under the direction of Abram G. Schuster, has in-depth knowledge, sensitive and considerate of the teacher, the students began to take up science.

In the summer of 1953 after graduate school at Moscow State University, I came to ACRI young talented scientist M. L. Brodsky. He had a profound knowledge of the profession, knew the literature, he wrote poetry, which often appears in the student wall newspaper. He was simple and accessible, and all that attracted students, especially the most capable.

Physics and Mathematics of the Pedagogical Institute has made its first release in 1956 (of the two groups and one group of mathematicians, physicists). From the first issue of mathematicians, four people went into a science: X. M. Andruhaev – the first candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and the first head. the Department of Mathematics of the Adygei youth representatives. Its Scientific articles published in journals of the USSR Academy of Sciences, scientists notes of the Saratov University, used in the monographs of Soviet and foreign scientists. In 1985 came the publication of his “Collection of problems in probability theory” (Moscow); A. Avdzhan and S.A. Svobodin, graduated from physics and mathematics perfectly well, have become candidates of physical and mathematical sciences, and for several years worked in our department. Now they are the teachers of the Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute; now an assistant professor of the Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas, our graduate ST Thamafokova became the first candidate of pedagogical sciences and worked at the faculty some time. But the very first graduates of the candidate physical and mathematical sciences was the 27-year-old PK Belobrov unfortunately prematurely deceased.
